I am searching for any ino on the family of GEORGE A. COLBERT. According to the inof I have he was a Methodist Episcopal minister, ordained in 1810. He had at least 4 children, my gg-grandmother, BETSEY ANN COLBERT and SAMANTHA FORD COLBERT. They were born in 1823 and 1817, respectively , in Allen County, KY. The other 2 children I know of are MARTHA COLBERT (b. IL ?, m. TALCOTT) and GEORGE F. COLBERT, who was born in IL in 1826 and emigrated to Linn County, OR around 1853. The G.A. COLBERT family moved to Carmi, IL and in 1835 to Bureau or Henry County, IL. I have no info on spouse of GEORGE A. COLBERT, his birthdate or location, but I do know he was an active minister in the Geneseo, IL area.. Any help is appreciated.
