Anyone researching COLBERT"S in Russell or Barbour Co, Alabama? What I have is Elzia COLBERT b: ???....d: during the Civil War.
His wife was Harriet "Patiecake" (DISMUKE) b: 1824 Russell Co, AL....d: 1910 Blooming Grove, (Navarro Co), TX. Their 6 known children were Harriet "Josephine" b: Jan 14, 1860, Samuel, Lida & Lulu (Twins), Betty, and Willie. The daughter Harriett "Josephne", AKA: "Aunt Jose" married Jun 01, 1885 Barbour Co, AL to William Augustus PHILLIPS b: Dec 17, 1852 Florence, Stewart Co, GA. I have lots of information on the PHILLIPS but looking for any information on the COLBERT'S. Thanks for your time and effort...."DU"
