I am researching my grandfather's line of Colbert's. He was William Baxter Colbert born 4-7-1874 either in Texas or Georgia. His father was Bush Colbert and his mother was Elizabeth Jones Colbert who was a Marshbanks at the time of her death about 1937. There were 3 sons born to Elizabeth and Bush Colbert, William Baxter (my grandfather) P.M. Colbert and J.C. Colbert. there were also 2 daughters but I have only their married surnames, Mrs. M.C. Mcdonald and Mrs. Homer Butler both of Atlanta. I know that William Baxter Colbert died in Hunt County Texas in 1972. He was preceded in death by his wife (my grandmother) EllenMaude Lake Colbert. If you have info on this line,
please help.
