"Sim Colbert, Chickasaw,was born in 1852, the son of Shamney and Tiensiey. He lived at Silo in 1899. Married three times--to Rhoda,
Kate Moore (1872-Aug 28,1899), and Lydia Wolf
(born 1880, the daughter of Amos Holden)--he was the father of Lizzie (1880; married Sam
Shirley), Jim (1886), Ben (1887), Eden (1894)
Allie Lee (1898), Martha (1901), Annie, and Amanda. Chickasaw Dawes Cards 665, 1094. Application for Enrollment, Chickasaw Nation., Case 1094.
