Three years ago I took a Y-67 DNA test from Family Tree and found out I had cousins I never knew existed. Family Tree is not the only company that offers DNA testing, but it has the
largest data base and is probably the best.
Through DNA testing, I also found out that my family not only went by the name of COLBERT, but CALVERT and COLVARD as well.
Yahoo's Calvert_Genealogy has over 100 members that had their
DNA tested. They have used this data to identify a large list
of families under the names COLBERT, CALVERT, COLVARD, COLBIRD, etc.
