Obituary 1930 Apostolic Review. COLBERT--Abner Davis Colbert, son of Levi and Jane Colbert, was born on March 26, 1836; died at home of his daughter near Washington, Ind. July 31, 1930, aged 94 years, 4 months, 5 days. He married Sarah Walters, Jan 1, 1858. She departed this life on Nov. 12, 1917. Of the family surviving are 3 brothers and a sister; 7 sons and 3 daughters, 47 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Bro. Colbert was a native of Daviess county and probably its oldest resident at the time of his death. Civil War veteran, and long a member of the church at Old Union, south of Washington.. (buried) in the family burial place southwest of the city.
