From all your postings I have seen, I think we are about in the same place with research in general. I am happy to share, also. Also, happy to provide what I can from Daviess County, IN.
I have been to Champaign Co., Wells and Huntington County. Want to go to Wabash County sometime to see what else might be available there. Have you heard that William Colbert (Humphrey's son) wrote some sort of biography? I haven't found a complete copy, but would like to read it. He was in Wabash County, also.
Several years ago I sent in my cousin's DNA to the Calvert/Colbert DNA group. It has been very interesting. I hope it will eventually give a hint on who Jesse's father may have been. We have had several exact matches with the Calverts of Prince William and Stafford Counties, Virginia.
