I am looking for descenands and researcher's of John Colbert he was born in 1861 in AL. I don't know who his parents are. He was living in Jackson CO., GA. dist. 465 in 1880 his father was born in GA. and mother was born in AL. if the census was right.
The head of house was his half brother James Monroe Prewitt born in AL. in 1842 I don't know who his parents are. Also in the census was his spouse Sarah Ann Maybelle Williams and they had the following children Mary J.P. Prewitt born in GA. age 12, Savannah E. born in S.C. age 8, Seville E.L. born in S.C. age 6, Amos Mcduffy born in S.C. age 4, Princy L.M. born in S.C. age 3, Lee Hampton born in GA. age 1. Also in the census was Elias H. Williams Sarah's brother born in GA.
