I was researching in Harris Co., TX and thought this man might be related to my COLBERT family. After I received this obit I realized this man is not related to my family. I thought I would post the obit just in case someone else is researching this family.

Willie Colbert Jr.
Services for Willie James Colbert Jr., 55, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McCoy Funeral Home with the Rev. Hardy Brown officiating. Burial will be at Fort Houston Cemetery.
Mr. Colbert died March 10 after a shooting accident.
He was born in Palestine on April 11, 1933, a son of Willie J. and Berthel Holman Colbert Sr. He graduated from Star Bailey High School in Kilgore.
He is survived by his father of Oakland, Calif.; son, Paul Colbert of Kilgore; sisters, Linda Sue Taylor, Jeanette Colbert, Brenda Colbert and Dorenda Harris, all of Oakland, Calif.; and brothers Wardell Colbert and
Leonard Colbert, both of Oakland.
