I am a Calvert descendent with Family heritage in WV, VA,
PA.
Like many, the name was spelled Colbert or Colvert for
a period of time in public records such as census data, etc, but they were Calvert. I Have other family members that used the name Covalt etc.
Specific queries are:
I am seeking Thomas C Calvert Sr(PA) along with Isaac, his father. Thomas C died in Greene Co PA in 1868. He was 99 yrs old, b Aug 1768 or 1769. He Married Anna Ewing at Mapletown and had issue, Thomas C Jr b 1803 who M Elizabeth Johnson.
Isaac was 120 when he died. He was b c1735-1748 and married a Frances or Fanny whom I believe to be a Bullitt, very possibly the D/O Benjamin Bullitt, sister of Cuthbert.
Isaac lived on Roberts run just north of Blacksville WV. Thomas Sr lived on Hoy Cr of Rudolph Run and built a grist and saw mill there.
I am seeking any possible information Isaac and Fanny, his issue, especially Thomas Sr and his wife Anna Ewing. Further information on Thomas Jr and his wife Elizabeth Johnson would be a great help. I believe that Elizabeth Johnson's family has heritage in the Greene and Fayette Co Area.
