Hi there,
just found some Colberts in Offord D'Arcy which lies between Huntingdon and St. Neots in Cambridgeshire, England.
There seems only to one family here, all born in this area.
So far have:
James Colbert born 1812 in Offord D'Arcy married to Sarah from Great Paxton also born 1812.
Their children:
William 1838
Stephen 1833
unknown male born about 1831. This unknown male was married to Rebecca Manning, but was dead by 1881, so we dont know his name, but are thinking that it is possibly James. This would have been also a possible second marriage for Rebecca.
There is also an Isiah born 1853 and a sarah born 1855 from the same tiny village, so possibly they are the children of another brother not yet found, or possibly cousins of the above if James 1812 had a brother.
