Looking for my many McAdams in Champaign County, Ohio, I came across Isaac McAdams, brother of my great-great-grandfather, John McAdams, in the 1850 census.
Isaac(born 1798) was living with wife Mary(born 1799), Catherine Colbert (born 1766) and Perry McAdams, (born 1842). I think Perry must be a grandson. Does anyone know who the children of Mary Colbert and Isaac McAdams were?
Last August Nancy Schacht listed early Champaign County Marriages, including Mary Colbert's marriage to Isaac McAdams on April 18, 1822.
I have seen a birth of a Mary Colbert to William Colbert in 1799 in the Latter Day Saints records so I am putting all these things together and assuming that Mary is the daughter of William and Catherine Colbert.
