Children of Gov. Richard Coke:
Buried: Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, Texas

(1) Amanda Eliza Coke: (1/29/1856-12/31/1856)

(2) John "Jack" Coke: (7/27/1857-6/5/1880
Occupation: Lumber Clerk
Tombstone inscription: "A devoted son, a steadfast friend, an honest man. None knew him but to love him - nor named him but to praise."

(3) Mary Victoria Coke: (4/9/1861-11/11/1862)

(4) Richard Coke: (7/30/1869-1/02/1899)
Tombstone inscription: "An honorable & upright man. A loving & affectionate son. A true friend. He is not dead, but sleepeth."

I have never seen John "Jack" Coke referred to as Jackson. I also have no record of him ever being married. All references that I have ever seen of both sons indicate that neither ever married.
