I am looking for information about Luther N. Coke b. 1878 in Mississippi. He married Lula Hurley b.1888 and they had many children, one of which was Lura Coke, my husband's grandmother. The 1880 census has a 2-year old Luther Coake living with his single father Wm J. Coake. Family knowledge is that Luther's mother was a full-blooded cherokee indian. Does anyone have information on this family?
