I am trying to trace Samuel Harvey Coke Sr. His son, SHC Jr was my mother's grandfather who was adopted by George Washington Harlin and took the adopted name. My Grandmother only found out that his real surname was Coke about 20 years ago, and as far as I know, no one in the family has tried to trace the Coke family history. All I know about SHC Sr is that he married Pearl Lone Holder in 1889 and they had SHC Jr on January 29, 1893 in Holder, Indian Territory (Love County). Does anyone have any info on Samual Harvey Coke Sr?
