Joseph Coke (Coke, Cock, Cooke), born Crawford John, Scotland, May 1823 married Helen Young. Their eldest daughter was Anna Proudfoot Coke, born Scotland in Dec of 1848.
The family emigrated to Canada where they lived in Erin, Wellington Co., Ontario and Caledon, Peel Co., Ontario.
Other children of Joseph and Helen: Elizabeth, Sarah, John, Mary Ellen, Robert and James. Mary Ellen was my gg-grandmother.
