First of all let me establish that I am NOT related to this person but in trying to find My relatives of the surname BIBBER, I came across this name and thought someone here might like to know this information.
On a Dutch or Deutch Church record from Colchester, Essex Co., England in the 1590's there appears on a list of those "Strangers" (meaning they were immigrants from other places and not orig. from Colchester), listed under the "Buttolphe Paryshe" is one Nycolas Koke, Baye wever.
This could be one of your early ancestors, and it might be fun to try to track down him or his family to see if they immigrated to America or stayed in Colchester.
This is ALL I have for info on this man and again, I am NOT related to this family at all so I can't answer any other questions about him, I just wanted to post this here in case someone was looking for their ancient ancestors and I thought this could be helpful.
