Did Martha Coit, d of Rev. Joseph Coit, marry Lemuel Smith?

William Cutter in his "Genealogical and Family History of Western New York" traces the earliest generations of the Coit family in America. He states that Martha, the daughter of Rev. Joseph Coit and Experience Wheeler, married Lemuel Smith, the son of John Smith and Susannah Hall, in Plainfield, Connecticut about 1733. Cutter is not known for his accuracy. I cannot find this marriage in CT records. Can anyone confirm this marriage?
