Am looking for any info on Confederate soldier Lt. Col. John T. COIT, 17th or 18th Texas Cavalry(from Dallas,TX) captured at battle of Arkansas Post, sent to Ft.Deleware, 12 Apr 1863. Forwarded on steamer State of Maine to City Point, VA for prisoner exchange. Any info on him before, during, after Civil War will be appreciated.
