I also have notice of an obit in an 1885 MARSHALL NEWSMESSENGER, Marshall, Texas for James A. COIT. "Died in this city 20 Jul 1885 at age 72 ... was born on Long Island, New York, and came to Marshall in 1842".

Any additional info would be appreciated.
