I have Joseph H. COIT b.(?) m. Nancy Blalock in Harrison County, TX in 1861, joined Confederates same year, was captured defending Arkansas Post 11 Jan 1863, died in federal prison Camp Douglas, Ill,19 Feb 1863.
I am looking for:
1. Any verification of his death, burial,
and where?
2. Any info on his parents, family etc.
