i was sandra coia born in lanarkshire, scotland. there were lots of us 'coias'! we were related to the verrechias' and the capaldis, and now i'm in australia. i will check with my dad. during the week, what the verrechia connection is exactly. we bought one of my dads' businesses from minnie. and (?) verrechia in motherwell in around 1960. (forget the contracts, shake hands, we're all family). minnie. was mini, (so am i!). our lot went to philadelphia too. my great grandpa played in a band in philadelphia, i have picture of band, accordian etc. they must have been cold in scotland! will bring my laptop to my dads' on thurs. and be more accurate then. also close to the cocozzas' (which mario lanza was). my grandpa was andrew coia, his siblings were charlie, (amazing), tony., sister connie., another wee one, forget her name, lived with great uncle tony and great granny and grandpa. great gradndpa was a flirt! great granny had a lace cap. aunt connie had a son called euclid, (a petal) and my dad. married a sidonio from near monte cassino. i married a scot. we live 'in a land down under'!! more soon.
