Just remembered that Grandad Coia had two wives his first my Dad's Mum died and grandad went to italy and came back with a new wife and Dad consequently got sent to Italy at a veru young age and spent all his formative years there School, university and Italian Airforce before returning to Scotland before WW2.
And that is what I dream of doing going to Italy and trying to trace his life living in Italy rather than holidaying as I believe it can be quite expensive. John Coia has offered help in a commune but before we go I need to pinpoint a little more accurately the university and Airfoce connections. Never fear we will keep at it

There was another family in the North Island but the name has gone as the offspring were all girls
