his son Lawrence Ludlow Cowen MD, b.1815, Charleston, SC
son of L.L. Cowen-
Lawrence Ludlow Cohen, Jr. 3Nov1842, Camden SC
Break in my info, but I believe these may be forebears of my grandfather:
Lawrence Ludlow Cowen b.Houston, TX 1880-1964(Cohen--changed his name in Oklahoma early in 20th cent.) He became a Methodist pracher in MS, TN, AR, Kentucky. He married Effie May Arnold (1881-1975) in 1902 Waxahachie, TX
