My grandfather was Wallace Warren Cohen. He was born in Edgefield, SC to Henry Cohen and Rose Rainsford, in 1880. I have been unable to locate a death certificate. He is not listed in the SSI Death Index and is not listed as dying in South Carolina. Memory has it that he in fact died in Edgefield circa 1943-45. He is buried at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetary next to the grave of his sister Lillian Cheatham. the funeral home no longer exists. Any one able to help please notify me. Thank you.
