Dear Jaime,
Nice to hear from you! You are the one who responded to me who came the closest to having important information about Carlos, my grandfather. I've only had a few responses on this website, yours is the only one from the South America area. So, I appreciate that you contacted me. But, it seems that your people and my people are from different origins. My grandfather's parents supposedly came from Algeria to Brazil. I never heard anything about them being connected to or coming from Portugal. I was excited to receive your message but I think it's a "near miss!"
