Grandfather L.L.Cowen (Cohen)

My maternal grandfather was Lawrence Ludlow Cowen (born Houston, TX,1880-1964, Methodist preacher in MS, TN, AR, Kentucky). I believe he changed his name from Cohen to Cowen while in Oklahoma early in this century. He married Effie May Arnold (1881-1975) in 1902 in Waxahachie, TX.

Any help would be appreciated.
