I don't know if this aaron cohen was the same man, but i don't think so.
The first husband of my grand aunt was said to be a spanish worker, he had worked in an iron mine in normandy in the 1930's (but before ?). He's said to to have been in Spain during the civil war and the second world war.
He should have divorced between 1945 and 1950.
That's all I know.
