Calling all Cohens

I seek my long-lost grandfather. He went by the name of Carlos Cohen or Charles Cohen. His birth name was Shalom Aaron Cohen. He was born in Sao Pao, Brazil on 7 April 1898. He is probably deceased. He spoke Hebrew, Portugese, Spanish, and English. He came to the U.S. in the 1920's and married my grandmother (Adele Dyner), a polish Jew from Poland. They were married in 1921 in N.Y.C. They had two boys, Robert (my uncle, b. 1922) and, George (my father, b. 8 December 1928). Both sons were born in N.Y.C.
Carlos worked for the Prudential Insurance Company as an interpreter. He also worked for Wallace Silverware Company in Wallingford, CT. Carlos apparently disappeared in the 1930's.
Carlos was an athlete, gymnast, and a dancer and non-smoker. He might still be alive or maybe had other children.
Do you know anything of his whereabouts or possible children?

                                                        Thank you,
George C. Cohen (40 yrs. old)
