I am searching for an Alma Knake, married to an Elmo? Cohen. Not sure of Elmo's first name or the spelling of last name.
Alma was from Germany and as I have been told, met Elmo in Iowa, married, and went to the Chicago area. There they ran a furniture store. This would be late 1800's and early 1900's. Maybe through the 1920's.
Alma would travel to Iowa to visit her relatives in Jones County, IA., and a sister Maria in Washington D.C. I believe they had children - maybe 2 boys.
If you have any information on this family, I would be willing to share information.
