Obituary from Rusbville Republican, December 4, 1956:
Harvey Cohee, 77, a fromer employee of the City Water and Light Plant, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 314 East Tenth . Although head been in failing health for several years, death was sudden.
He was born August 15, 1879, in Shelby County, the son of Benjamin F. and Eliza Ensminger Cohee.
A resident of Rushville most of his life, Mr. Cohee was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Strock Cohee; two sons, Richard of Dubuque, Iowa, and Robert Cohee of Ft. Wayne, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Moster and Sons Mortuary with the Rev. John Elliott officiating. Friends may call the mortuary after 4 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery.
