Richard,

I just re-read your message and realized you may have been addressing me. Richard Carroll COHEE was my husband's grandfather and I am the genealogy enthusiast.

I tend to agree with your assumption, but we know nothing of Richard Carroll COHEE's ancestral families. Sorry I can't help you with Charles and Sally COHEE. Few of his twelve children carried lineage surnames, and the only one known to us is VOORHEES. Of course, if that name is from a maturnal ancestor it likely is useless to you. However, if it is from a couple generations back on Richard's maturnal side, then it may be meaningful. No one in my husband's family spoke of an OK origin. As stories go, Richard was from DE then moved to Talbot County, MD. Stay in touch! Ann
