Capt. Francis Cogswell/ NewHampshire

I have recently purchased a large volume of papers and letters of Capt. Francis Cogswell who died in 1939. (The USS Cogswell Ship was named after him in 1943, as well as his father.) He was commander of many ships and had an absolutely wonderful history. He was married to Grace Phillips Cogswell. It is my understanding from the will of Capt. Cogswell there are no children. I also have the papers that show both were buried in Arlington Cemetary in Washington DC. I was hoping that someone in this forum would possibly have information about this particular family. I do know he was the Naval Attache to paris France in the late thirties just before his death. There is alot of his wife and his personal history in the Collection, but I would like to know more of him and his parents/ or family. The informatin shows he was a native of New Hampshire, but not that he grew up there.
My thanks. Barb
