My great, great grandfather was Moses Cogswell. The 1851 Hilperton census listed Moses Cogswell 28, as "hand loom weaver, woolen" living in Hilperton Marsh with his wife Hannah, 24. daughter Martha 5, son William, 2, and daughter Elizabeth 1.

Moses died February 10, 1880 in Fitchburg, MA.

My father, Philip Cogswell, grandson of Moses' son William, obtained this info in Hilperton in 1978. Please email at
