James Coghill, son of Thomas Coghill of England, was born in Sittenburn Parish of Old Rappahannock County, VA. It seems that he married an Alice (unknown) and had one son, William, born c. 1676. It also seems that Alice died soon after and James married a Mary (unknown). After James' death c. 1687, Mary married a Mr. Duxbery. Does anyone know Mary's maiden or previously married surname?
