I don't have much on the Coghills. Sarah Coghill, born abt 1794 married William Henry Stainback. They had eigth children, including Nicholas H, my gr-gr-grandfather. Nicholas married Mary Bragg and had eight children, including Claudia E Stainback, my gr-grandmother. I have detailed information on all of Claudie's descendents.
Charlie Rathburn has collected a great deal of information on the Stainbacks and he has sent me his GEDCOM, including many other descendents of William Henry Stainback and Sarah Coghill. I would be happy to share that as well. My great uncle (Sarah Coghill's great grandson) married Maxine Coghill. All of these individuals lived in the Henderson, NC area.
As to Sarah's ancestors, I know her father was Reuben Coghill and her mother was Nancy, unknown last name. Please e-mail me and maybe we can exchange information.
