My Great Great grandfather James Amosira Coggin B: 1832 GA he was the son of Robert Coggins b 1810 GA he Married Mary A Brown they had three children one son George 1861 TN (MY Great Grandfather who married Elizabeth Rose. James wife died abt 1865 and he remarried a Mary Shropshire and they had several children and when the OK Terratory opend up in 1902 they moved there. The Story goes that George wold drive horses from missouri to his fathers (James) place in OK and they would be sold there. Some of the family kept the S and some dropped it. Are any of these Coggin (S) sound familary to you. Sincerely Daniel Coggin 209-384-2180
