I am hoping to get more info on the Cogbill side of my family. My great-great grandfather was Irving Cogbill, son of Phebe Cogbill from VA-AL-AR. Irving's siblings that I have listed were: David; W.W; Franklin; Thomas; James; and Alahansey. Irving & his first wife, Frances, had 4 children. The oldest was my great grandmother, Laura. She married James Hill in 1881 and they had 3 children. The youngest was my grandfather, Carl. I know that my grandfather and my father, Marion were in contact with some of the family through the 1940's because I have some pictures of different Cogbills. I've read some of the messages posted at this site but the dates are old. If anyone out there has info, please let me know.
