The only proof that I have is that I was told by Miss Carrie Cofield in 1957 that Gresham Cofield Cofield was the father of Thomas Nathan Cofield. I also have some family trees that she made up telling that Gresham was Thomas' father. She was my husband's aunt. She died in 1977. I feel that this is a VERY reliable source. Maybe we can get more proof, but until then as far as I'm concerned, Gresham WAS Thomas Nathan's father.
