Suttoncofield

Hello all,
I found a genealogy book written several years ago that says my Sutton family came to America with the name Suttoncofield and eventually shortened the name to Sutton. I had never heard of a name like Suttoncolfield, but through another posting I found out that Suttoncofield (also known as Suttoncoldfield) is a place in the middle of England. Do any of you colfield researchers feel your ancestors might be from this area in England? Maybe the Suttons and the Cofield's might be related??
