L V Cofield (female) in Marion County 1898

Although I am not realted to the Cofields, I am looking for a woman named L V Cofield who would have been living in Marion County, Alabama in 1898. She helped make a quilt for my great-grandfather Thomas Winston Ballard in that year and signed her name to one of the squares. I am interested in learning her full name and what happened to her after 1898.
