I have just stumbled on the Coffman relationship to Custer family. My research is on the family of Emanuel Custer & Ann Miller. The Coffman name connects with Jacob Custer & Bazil Hendricks. Connecting Custer, line of Susannah Custer and John Hendricks. Susannah is brother of John Custer.

Both Jacob Custer and Bazell Hendricks m. a Catharine Gotshall, Jacob Custer is a brother of Susannah Custer.
Bazell m. Mary E. Coffman, widow of Henry Howe aka Hower.
Bazell is a son of Susannah Custer and John Hendricks.
