Help needed!
I'm seeking documentation to prove the date that James Coffman, who married Elizabeth Robinson, arrived in Texas from Alabama and Tennessee. A family story tells that in the 1830s they settled in the area that became Holly Springs, Camp County, Texas.
It is important to have the exact date in order to help two cousins wishing to join the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
