Hello. My grandfather, Philip Ross Zimmerman's parents were Joseph Zimmerman and Catherine Coffman. From his marriage license application it is stated that both of his parents were born in Williamsport, PA. I know that is in Lycoming County. I have no info other than their names. Supposedly Philip was an only child according to my mother. But in farm country, one doesn't have just one child, and one doesn't just disappear! I have not been able to find these people in the census or Zimmerman family message boards. My mother says she never met her Zimmerman grandparents and she has no idea what happened to them. And if it weren't for a relative who does genealogy, who told us she went to Westmoreland County and found their marraige license, my mother would have never known what her grandmother's name was. Please help me. I don't want to intrude, just a few names and dates. Not the whole line. Thanks in advance.
