Hannah Scott); son of Paul of Washington, Dutchess county, N.Y., b. 1828-9 (m. Susanna Bunker); son of Zephaniah (m. Abigail Coleman); son of Stephen (m. Experience Look); son of Stephen, b. at Newbury, Mass., 1662 (m. 1668 Mary Bunker); son of Tristram Coffin (m. Dronis Stevins), came from England to America 1645, and settled on the Island of Nantucket, of which he was chief magistrate in 1660. Died 1681. -- American Ancestry, Volume One, Page 15.
