I have that Mary Boscawen was Peter COFFYN's wife.
This is from a lineage chart that supposedly came from the Portledge estate but of course there is no proof that I can see and it raises more questions than it answers.

John b. 1301
David b. 1332
David b. 1361 m. Thomasine Coffyn and they had son John Coffyn b. 1392 d. 1427 who m. Thomissin HARTHEY
they had son William Coffyn b. 1423 who d. 1486 who m. Margaret Giffard
Richard COFFYN b. 1440 who m. Alice GAMBON
John b. 1475 who m. Elizabeth Phillipa HINGSTON
Richard COFFYN b. 1495 - 1555 who m. Wilmot Ann CHUDLEIGH
James Coffyn b. 1514 & Mary COLE b. 1516
to Peter COFFYN b. 1535 who married Mary BOSCAWEN
to NICHOLAS COFFYN b. 1561 d.1613 who m. Joanna AVERT b. 1556 d. 1613 (was their a plague in 1613 that took both of them that year?, if so they are probably buried in a mass grave somewhere).
I have Peter and Mary Boscawen COFFYN's children as:
Nicholas COFFYN
Tristram
Phillip
Lionel
and Thomas Coffyn
Nicholas and Joanna Avert COFFYN had children:
1-Peter COFFIN (name changed spelling here) b. 1580 d. 1627 m. Joanna KEMBER b. ? d. 1645
2-Tristram Coffin
3-Nicholas Coffin
4-John Coffin
5-Anne Coffin
(if there are no dates given its because there were no dates on the info I received either)
Whether or not Any of this is correct I cannot say as it is info that was passed on to me by someone who went to the estate in England. From the Alwington Church on/near the Portledge estate comes these 2 tiles in the floor of the church
Katheryne wife of William HOCKIN of Week in Great Torrington, Gent. and daughter unto Richard COFFIN of Portledge, Esq. who departed this life the 10th day of Sept. 1648 at age 41. (so she was b.c1607 but Who is This Richard Coffin and why does he not appear on the above lineage chart?? or does he?)
Anne relict of Richard COFFIN of Portledge, Esq. daughter of Edmond Prideaux(?spelling?) of Padrow? in Co. Cornwall
Anne had issue Bridgett, John, Honor and Richard COFFIN.
She died Aug. 10, 1705 at age 60 yrs. old (so was b. c1645).
Who was she?? Obviously not the Wilmot Ann CHUDLEIGH mentioned in the lineage chart above, and yet there are No Richard Coffyn's/Coffin's mentioned in the lineage line after him, so he must be from another the male "Coffyn's".
If anyone can add to this or make corrections I would be most greatful. Thanks
