In the 1850 Census I found a Samuel Towle with and Elizabeth, in Porter, Oxford County. Before I copy a bunch of stuff that may not be your Elizabeth, can you give me any more information? 1800's is a lot of years to look in and there seem to be umteen Towels as well. I knew the Coffins connected to them and one of my neighbors who passed away 2 years ago was A Towle, We connect but only way way back, on the Coffin side.
Will wait to hear more from you on this before I spend hours looking at the wrong ones.
