Just started to make a connection to the Coffey family and John Coffey and wife Elizabeth Rucker may be the ones I'm searching for. Are they the parents of Sarah Ashley Coffee who married Jesse Marlar in South Carolina in 1796? The dates don't seem to match up though. Sarah was supposed to be born in 1782 and John and Elizabeth were born in 1776 and 1787 repectively, so is this the correct family?
