I am searching my mother's Coffey side of the family. Her name was Louise Kathryn Coffey , Her father was John Hardy Coffey, b 1895-1983 in the Montebello area of Nelson and Augusta Counties of Virginia. The name Irish Creek brings back memories of him talking about family, He had a brother named Jess, sister Denia Coffey Phillips and Nellie Coffey Sweet. His father was a Marsellis Coffey married to a Theresa C. Fitzgearld. I know nothing farther except one aunt said she thought Marsellis taught school some. I do not know. Any one know anything that could get me started on this end of my tree. Thanks, Dot at tomb@adelphia.net
