Does anyone know to which Durham that Nancy Coffey was married? (She was born 9/10/1788, Burke County, NC; died 4/19/1866.) Her second husband was Joel Anderson Dyer.
She is the daughter of Reuben Coffey (born 1744, Virginia) and Sarah "Sally" Scott (born 1750, Virginia.)
I think she was married to Bedford Parker Durham Sr. (born 1780, NC; died 1860, TN.) But, I've been unable to find documentation of the marriage. If she was, then she is my ggg-grandmother.
Also, does anyone know his parents' names?
I would greatly appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you.
